Lauren G. ShepherdSenior Associate
Now a senior associate attorney for the Bagley Law Firm, Lauren once served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Andrew MacDonald in Colorado’s 20th Judicial District in Boulder, Colorado where she garnered expertise as to the inner workings of Colorado’s criminal and civil judicial systems.
As part of her professional endeavors, Lauren served with the Lakewood District Attorney’s Office in the Family Violence Unit, as well as the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, strongly advocating for victims of domestic violence and against those who would do their partners and children harm. Lauren has also volunteered with the Domestic Abuse Prevention Project.
Prior to entering law school, Lauren received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Colorado where she graduated magna cum laude. Thereafter, Lauren received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law, where she was elected to the Dean’s List and served as Editor in Chief of the Journal on Telecommunications and High Technology Law. She also competed in the Carrigan Cup Mock Trial Competition, placing among the top four teams.
In her free time, Lauren likes to spend time with her husband, Levi, their children, Zoe and Geist, and their golden retriever, Gus.
